HipStudio transforms CT data into a patient-specific 3D hip reconstruction with quantified morphology, femoral head coverage, version measurements and kinematic simulation. Different treatment options can be compared, and the results are shared with the physician in a comprehensive patient-specific report.

What it measures
From anatomy to simulated treatment.

Morphological analysis
Quantify femoral and pelvic morphology on the reconstructed anatomy, including three-dimensional femoral head coverage, spinopelvic tilt, femoral and acetabular version, alpha angle, and more. Results are presented alongside relevant reference ranges from scientific literature.
Kinematic simulation
Simulate predefined joint motions and identify where osseous contact is predicted to occur. This complements static morphology with a model of dynamic bone-to-bone conflict.

Treatment comparison
Simulate acetabular osteotomies, cam resection and patient-specific implant* scenarios, then compare predicted coverage and range of motion before osseous contact.
* The 3D-Shelf implant is under clinical investigation and not commercially available.
Getting started
Three simple steps
01Acquire
Acquire the CT according to the Replasia imaging protocol, which is very similar to existing scan protocols. No dedicated positioning hardware or contrast agent is required.
02Upload
Transfer the DICOM dataset through Replasia’s secure upload portal.
03Review
Receive the 3D analysis and review the findings and candidate scenarios before deciding on diagnosis and treatment plan.
